It was a Very Good Day

That went fast....anticipation for the day then poof, it's over!!

We celebrated with just the 8 of us who live here and it was good.

But first,

Today started out very foggy.
It's damp and chilly!
But Joy remains.

Christmas Eve

Make your own subs for dinner...
always a hit!

And had cookies and cupcakes too!
All gluten free.
Christy and the kids made the cookies and
Ellen and I made the cupcakes.

We watched the livestream Christmas Eve service
from our church.
It was wonderful!

Later we watched A Christmas Story
and laughed like we had never seen it before 😀

Christmas Day
(I'll try not to dump a bunch of pics...)

Fun to come!!

The day was not too cold and became sunny!

These three are ready to get the day started!
Or should I say 4?
Puppy was full of excitement too!

Noah was thrilled to get what he requested
from Nana and Pop Pop!

Some gifts that Ellen got.

Zoe's gift from us...a makeup bag and lighted mirror.

Aidan checking if the money we gave him is legit 😂
We also gave him a bluetooth beanie.

I had Noah's name for a Secret Santa gift.

A t-shirt, a bottle of Young Living wolfberry juice
(he loves it so much and was thrilled to get his own bottle!),
and a puzzle.

The kids opening their big gift...
a Nintendo Switch!

We gave each family a picture puzzle,
this is Corey's family, the family we live with ❤

For dinner, we ordered Chinese.

It was a very good day!

So fun to see pictures of your Christmas, I love all the expressions. Aidan is getting so tall, is he taller than Corey and Christy?
Have a good week with the kids having a school break.

That family picture puzzle is a great idea! And your homemade subs, we have those a lot during the summer months. You have a beautiful family. Glad you had a great Christmas!

Your grands have been growing as fast as our own, Doris. It was great to see everyone in this post. Ellen looks like she was very pleased with her gifts as did Aiden, Zoe and Noah. Sending our best wishes to you and Dale and your extended family for a better 2022 for all...and a happy one as well.
