Trees were falling
on Monday, May 11.

Thankfully they weren't coming down unassisted.

We had fun watching the two guys cutting them down.

One tree was giving them a workout.

I heard him call

Then add, Maybe not ☺

It eventually came down....
was the one closest to the house
and has been dying/dead ever since we've been here.
The woodpeckers loved that tree
but it concerned me more than the others.

That tree was solid!!

Clean up is next!

It has started....
will be a big job!

Splitting and stacking.

Young helpers!

The swing set is back in place again
which will be fine, so we were told,
for the next big tree that needs to come down.
No word when that will be.

They will need a crane, it's huge!

It's my laundry day so I need to get the next load in...
have a great day!

P.S. We had 4 trees cut down....
One to go...this round ☺

Getting there but still lots more to do!

That is quite the event, getting that big tree down, then cut up and stacked. Since it was dead, wise decision to get it down before bad weather hits it. Have a good Thursday. Hope it wont be too much longer before the other one can come down too.

We had a few trees cut recently and it is amazing to watch those guys work!!! I know you are happy to have the dead tree gone. I'm washing my sheets and comforter today. Take care. xoxo

Good that project is over and done and hopefully the next one can wait for awhile and not cause any issues as well. Laundry time here this weekend as well, Doris.
