Happy Easter!

We started with egg hunts earlier this week
when the weather was nice.

The eggs were empty,
in case you were wondering =)

It gave him something to do!

I will fill some for an egg hunt tomorrow...
the weather is to be ok to do it outdoors, yay!

The great outdoors.....

Picking up sticks.
That day happened to be sunny and warm,
sunglasses a must!

Our weather drastically changed.
It was extremely windy and cold
now today it's better but still chilly.

The leaves are trying!
Soon we will see more.

Lunch on the porch, always a plus when I can.

How nice that this robin sat for a picture ☺

Today we left the house for the first time in a month!

Heading out!

We were on a special mission.

First stop...

Our daughter Marcy's family

We delivered Easter bags
while keeping our distance!

They were busy mulching.
It was SO good to see the smiles....
But I really wanted to give hugs.
Really really bad.

We chatted then were on our way to our next stop.

Our daughter Greta and her family!

So good to see them!!
Carson has lost two teeth since I last saw him....
and he learned to ride his bike without training wheels.

I wanted to give hugs here too.......
sigh.

Later our daughter Gina wondered if she could bring over a flower.

Soooo good to see
Gina, Justin and their puppy, Baily!

And why didn't I remember to get a picture??

I remembered as they were leaving!

We are blessed....
Greta sent home GF carrot cupcakes and PB balls.
Gina gave us a beautiful pink hyacinth.

It will certainly be a different Easter
but it will be a good one too.

One day I added eggs to this coffee table decor....
we still had Christmas balls in it!
They were blue and silver so maybe not too terrible after all ☺

Wishing you a very Blessed Easter.
May we hear the message of hope through the noise.

It is wonderful you could do drive-bys to see the kids. Life is just crazy with all this distancing, isn't it? I hope that you and hubby both stay safe and healthy. Happy Blessed Easter-xo Diana

So good you finally took a ride and had a mission. Gathering with family and friends will give us a greater appreciation for that freedom. Love the pictures.

We also "saw" family on Easter, but our visit were by phone calls and video chats as they all live in differing states. Thanks for sharing your Easter holiday, Doris.
