It's almost Christmas!
Here's what I've been up to...
some of it, all would be
WAY TOO MUCH!!
My favorite Christmas Activity
Cookie Baking with the Grands!
Saturday, December 21
First these two helped prepare some cookie dough.
Zoe making Gluten Free sugar cookies
He's making regular sugar cookie dough.
He's pretty independent now, so cool!
We've been baking together for a long time ☺
This year Carson wanted to decorate the cookies.
Last year he declined, playing was what he wanted to do!
Toby decorated some too.
Paityn and Cambrie
Noah hard at work!
Ellen always does some decorating too!
A table full of creative kids!
We take time to eat too!
I made cheeseburger soup and
chicken corn soup.
Marcy made a salad and Greta brought veggies and dip.
We also ate some cookies ☺
They all took some of their cookies home
and the rest are in our freezer for when we get together
on Sunday, December29.
Christmas Lights
Sunday, December 22
We still do this...it's a long time tradition!
And we still go to the Manheim area where we used to live
because that's where we always went ☺
Taken from the car...
music and lights at the Krasley's.
The show is about a half hour long and we watch the whole thing!
Ellen literally rocks the van with bouncing to the music.
We LOVE it!
First time I got some decent pictures of these cars!
We always go see this lawn filled with blow up decorations!
This house is on the same street.
So beautiful!
And the blue trees....
had to see them again.
I love blue lights!
Reflections on the water adds to the beauty.
Christmas is almost here!
Christmas books,
Santa village
(one of the houses has bit the dust, some have broken and glued pieces),
kids nativity,
all favorites!
The stockings are hung,
bring it on!
Wishing each of you a Very Merry and Blessed Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you too! Cookie baking/decorating looks like loads of fun and a blue mouth:) Love all of those pretty lights! Enjoy your day dear Doris, HO HO HO!
I love cookie decorating. I used to stop off on my way to work night shift, at my sisters. She had tons of cookies to decorate and I would help her. I miss those fun times. I loved seeing all your helpers. So much fun. Love the lighted mantle. Merry Christmas to all. Blessings for a wonderful new year. xoxo, Susie
Merry 🎄 Christmas, Doris to you and Dale and your family. Looks like you have been busy (understatement here) with so many fun things and especially the cookie baking and decorating. Thanks for sharing all the decorations and the holiday lights. Hope we get to see you again when we are in Lancaster after Christmas.
