Birthday Girl

My baby had her 25th birthday this week.....my baby is 25!!

We celebrated with Ellen on Sunday with her group of friends.
It didn't suit everyone but it was still fun with those that could come.

Enjoy a few pictures of her party.

She requested a cat themed party.
She LOVES cats!

Ellen also chose the lunch menu...
hot dogs and mac and cheese, two of her favorite foods.
It was a beautiful day and enjoyed eating on the deck and porch....
Mamas on the deck, girlies on the porch.

Next, it was time to open gifts.

She loves it that she got lots of Target gift cards.
And some Reese's PB cups too =)

One of her friends got her a cute plush cat....
she's hugging it!

After gifts we played bingo until all the prizes were won.
No pictures because I was busy calling numbers.

Time for cake and ice cream!

She had a chocolate peanut butter cake....
of course!

Such a sweet group of friends!
Love them soooo much!

Later some of our family gathered here for dinner....
mostly leftovers from the party.
Because I always make too much,
 but worry I won't have enough =)

It's always good to gather!

Cuties!
Granddaughter, Paityn, celebrated her 12th birthday on Wednesday.
What a beautiful young lady she is!

Mommy would give a spoon full of food to Toby,
he ate it....then handed it back for more.
So adorable.

LOVE MY BUNCH!

We celebrated Ellen again on her birthday on Tuesday.....

She had a meeting scheduled for 9:30 that morning in New Holland....
and we were a little late because I didn't know there was construction
which had traffic tied up for quite awhile.
I called and let them know.
Thank God for cell phones!

After the meeting
we had some fun!

First stop was a big thrift store....

If there is any cat thing for sale, she will find it!!
The lamp stayed in the store
but she did find two small resin cats that now sit on a shelf in her bedroom.

Next was lunch closer to home....

Scoops!

She got a hot dog and fries,
I got a GF BBQ chicken wrap.
Yum, yum!

They have really good ice cream there
but we waited to get our dessert at the next stop...

Dairy Queen!

She wanted an ice cream cake from there
so we had to go anyway =)

(Yes, she wore that Happy Birthday on her head
everywhere we went...
except for the appointment because
I didn't think it would be the best choice ☺)

Pizza from Dominoes was dinner,
her choice.
Did you know they have really good GF pizza too?
It's very good!

She waited ALL day for her gifts...

A new purse, she loves Vera Bradly purses.

When she saw what was in this one...
she couldn't believe her eyes!

The cat mermaid beach towel she really, really wanted!

Lavender bath bombs
from Young Living.
She loves these!

And the small gift....

A sparkly cat necklace!

Finally everyone was home and we could have cake!

Her brother lights 25 candles....

That cake is all aglow!
(she had already taken a shower so she's in her PJ's and has wet hair!)

We sing...
and the kids add some fun to the song =)

She huffs....

and she puffs....

Takes a breath...

and goes back at it again....

Then huffs and puffs because
that was a crazy amount of candles to blow out!!

Happy Birthday, Ellen!

Happy Birthday to Ellen! Happy Birthday to Paityn! Looks like everyone had fun celebrating them. I love all of Ellen's cat gifts and the look on her face when she opened that cat mermaid towel.

Happy Birthday to Ellen and from the photos on this post what a great number of celebrations she enjoyed! The cat mermaid towel did look like a great gift for next summer's beach trips and who doesn't love peanut butter & chocolate?
