It's Summer, still having fun!

Here's what we've been up to lately.

Friday, July 20 -

What to do, what to do.....

We threw around a few ideas and ended up with this.....

First stop was the brand new Michael's!

That's a fun place to go. Mommy said they could each buy something. They started looking for that one treasure....

Zoe found hers almost right away!

Cool stuff.....some soft and fluffy. Some squishy.

They kinda liked that mirror...

Hello, gorgeous!

Noah found his treasure!

He's still looking for his.

We decided to go to Target. We are sure his treasure must be there!

I must say that shopping in the toy section at Target is a whole lot more fun with kids!!

Nana said, NOPE...don't need any more of these!!!

Hmm, clearance......that speaks his language.

Treasure found!

(No, the little guy did not get what he's holding....he did get a little leggo Thomas train since his bubbles were only 30 cents!)

Next stop.....

Chick-fil-A!! The boys shared a breaded chicken nugget meal and the girls shared a grilled chicken nugget meal.

Perfect, because of the next stop.

Indeed!! Sooo good.

Fun day!!

So it's now Monday and we were wondering what to do today. It's raining off and on so playing outdoors was not an option.

We decided to bake almond flour blondies.

Aprons on....but the guy in the back was not going to show me his.

So he thought =)

Gotcha!!

We begin measuring and mixing.

We put him in charge of the mixer.

Stirring in the chocolate chunks!

After getting them in the oven to bake we went outside to check the weather....

So crazy to have leaves changing and falling.

In JULY!! Good grief.

And later it was sunny again.

Then it poured again.

Then it was sunny again...

So the day goes :)

Yes, the blondies are delicious!

The kids are now watching The Greatest Showman....for the third time! It's that good.

Except the littlest one, he's sleeping. It's getting darker outside again, more rain coming. I feel a nap coming on for me. Yeah, right  ;-)

Bless you - being in charge of three kids in a store. I thought two was enough!

Yes, we are having the same weather here. Sounds like there’s flooding at a number of places. I saw pics from both Knoebels and Hershey Park.

The Greatest Showman is indeed that good. You’ll have to check out the video of Bianca singing about it last week. Just posted it on my blog. She’s such a hoot!

Two fun days! You need to wear a crown while you are caring for the kiddos! You are definitely a queen!

What a fun time with the kids! They keep us moving and for that I am thankful:) The Greatest Showman is wonderful! We watched it on vacation. My Grands in Knoxville have seen it SO many times and even went to a sing-along:) Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

My kids used to love ToysR-Us. Hard decision to choose just one toy!
Glad you are all having a great summer.

Looks like a great shoppinf experience for all, Doris. It’s always fun to see the junior bakers and what better thing to do on a rainy day, I agree!

Oh I love this! Such fun shopping with the kids. I loved seeing what they got. And baking is the best! Where is the Michael's? Is it around where I will be tomorrow? And is that the Target on Route 30? I want to stop in Target for a minute if my sister will agree to that. There is always something different in their Bullseye Spot than there is in mine. Yes, I want my one toy too!
