Random

Random catch-up post:

  • Let's start with today.

Oh how happy this makes me!

Our world is getting GREEN!

It's gradually warming up.
Today was beautiful!
Dinner on the porch beautiful.
Perfect!

After dinner playtime.
This girl loves to swing!

"Got it!"
He found his ball....
this boy loves balls!

The beautiful outdoors was his workshop today.

He's using an old church pew for the frame.
He's resourceful like that.
This will be a barn door for the half bath.

The doorway will be made larger
and this door will replace the existing door.
The existing door will become the closet door in our bedroom.

It only took four years =)

  • As lovely as today was, we've had lots of the opposite!
Heavy rain!

Chilly, chilly!!

A good way to deal with it ☺

  • Another way to deal with the cold weather we've had.
Yes indeed!

  • Cousins.

Yesterday we had a Myers Family Reunion,
 my mothers family.

This picture is all the cousins that attended....
probably only about half of us.....
standing in order of age.
Oldest on right, youngest on left.

It's always so good to be together!

  • Grandson Carson came to play one day.
Good Friday was a wonderful day to play
because it was a holiday from school.
All three kids who live here were home and ready to play!

Carson plays with Lego blocks,
Noah jumps.

Noah plays with Lego blocks,
Carson jumps!

Pretending the horse is knocking them over....
gales of laughter!

We attempted a selfie =)

After lunch
I gave him his Easter gift
because he would be at his other Grandma's house
for Easter.

Carson is checking out Aidan's school project.
'Working around the clock'
He won a prize for it!

Painting cups....
it was a busy day!

Precious Toby!
He is such a delightful baby.

It was so fun to have Carson come play.

Nana was ready for a nap later =)

  • Accomplishment!
He earned his orange belt!

Little brother celebrates too.
(With a ball in his hand, of course)
Too cute!

That's it for tonight.

Rain in the forecast the next several days. At least temps are to stay around 60 degrees. That's a good thing! Really hope we said a permanent good-bye to the 40's. Yes I do.

So many wonderful pictures and cute grands!!

I love Dale's door project!

And yes, I DO hope we're finished with those daytime 40's. I hate rain, but at least it's not snow!

I'm really sad I missed the reunion, but that would have made four weekends in a row of making the trip down. Gas prices are a pain right now.

Love seeing all your babies. Toby is growing fast! I love the barn door for the bath. We've had heavy rain for the last 2 days. Looking forward to sunshine soon. Have a good day, Doris. xo

Never a dull moment around your home for sure, and they are all so cute and have so much fun. Love the door Dale is making...what a great idea and I know you will be glad when it is up and the other one moved. Hopefully spring really is here to stay.

Loved seeing what you have been up to. THAT cousin picture is priceless! We have had a LOT of rain, sounds like you are getting it now. It is so nice to stay in when the rain is coming down, but I need to get out today. Thankful for some sunshine:) Enjoy your day dear Doris, HUGS!

I can see it's been busy over there! I'm so thankful for seeing a little green too. :) We've also had all sorts of weather. I saw something from our local weather that said in the last 10 days Michigan had: a temp of 71, a temp of 14, sun, rain, sleet, hail, snow and an earthquake! The earthquake was actually in Canada but was felt here. Isn't that a crazy list?

Doris, I think you have been busy ! I love how the children shared their fun. The little guy with the ball, so sweet. I am so glad you have a baby to love on too. :) What a great time the reunion must have been. I am loving the new door. I also love the big wall of windows there. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie

Nuce to see all the family pics, Doris, and how quickly the grandkids are growing up. Kudos to Aiden on his orange belt, and our grands Bibby & Ellie also recently advanced in colors. The bathroom barn door effect should be lovely when Dale is done.
