A Super Party

It's a very wet day here in PA. We had just a bit of snow and some sleet, some freezing rain and rain. Our trees are ice covered. School is canceled and no one went to work.....we have a full house!

Our Super Sunday Super Bowl Party

Time to post some pictures from our Super Bowl party. It began snowing Sunday morning and was to get warmer and turn to rain. It did that but not nearly as fast as predicted. Roads were already a bit slick on the way to church and our street was not treated....uphill on our way home was, well lets just say I'm glad I wasn't driving!! Trees around our home were icy. But we did go to our daughter's home and we had a great time. It was a good game, which I watched more of than I usually do!

America the Beautiful
Leslie Odom, Jr.
Well done!!
What a thrill it must have been for those kids.

Pink...
Our National Anthem
Chills, always....
Very well done!!

Signing....
so special!

They are ready for the game!

She says, what game....
I'm just going to be on the move!

Greta and Lynn watch
while Toby gets some nourishment ☺

Looks like all is well!

Things getting tense??

Hands on head.......

Sometimes you just gotta stand and pace.....

 Anticipation.....

Oh no! That didn't go as they had hoped.

Things are looking up!

Yes, Yes, Yes!!
The Eagles WON!!!

(Zoe holding her ears because it's SO loud in there!!)

What a thrill for this bunch!

This kid is not an Eagles fan.
At All.
He likes the Dolphins.
He was going to cheer for the Patriots
which made his mama very sad indeed.
SO
his mama promised him a Dolphins jersey
if he would graciously cheer
with the Eagles fans.

Gracious, he was!
He's getting his jersey ☺

Aunt Kimmy cheers
and Cambrie is still trying to figure out what all the fuss is about!!

Great game! Great people, great party, too.
Thanks Marcy and Scott for hosting!

Monday morning was bright and sunny and the roads were icy.
School had a two hour delay...
how nice for the kids!

Pretty!

It will probably look like this again tomorrow morning.
The kids have a two hour delay again tomorrow.

A slower start to the morning can be good....
although before you know it, the day is half over!

We had more snow than rain up here today. No school. Even Penn State closed, which is very rare.

Your super bowl party looks so fun!

Great pictures, Doris. I was so happy for the win there!!! I remember those ice storms all too well. We lived up on the NYS border (Bradford County) and when we had those ice storms we would have to take the milk out back and dump it because the bulk tanks couldn't get through.

Have a wonderful day! xo Diana

A fun party, and a good win for the Eagles. Now the snow is another subject! Especially the icy roads, etc. Down south the schools are closing, but not because of the snow and ice, because of the horrible flu going around. Hope your Thursday is a good one!

Snow here too! Our church was cancelled Sunday and that never happens. School has been closed for 2 days and with another big storm predicted tonight, who knows if it will be cancelled tomorrow too!
We are not football fans so didn't watch but we did want the Eagles to win!
