My Friday

It was a gorgeous day here in PA.

Blue skies are my favorite!

Even though the flowering bushes have faded,
it's still beautiful!

My little helper assisted me in taking the trash bin
to it's proper place.

He really wanted to pick that flower =)

We took a selfie....
then he wanted to see it.
He loves when we take selfies!
He still has lunch on his face, we see.

We went away for about an hour.
When we got home again  I saw a box on the kitchen table.
I was trying to figure out what I ordered....it had my name on it.

Mary, Ellen's life skills helper, (they were making a dessert)
told me it's flowers....
Geez, I was trying so hard to figure out what it was that I ordered and forgot about,
I didn't even notice it was a box of flowers!!

I opened it....

BEAUTIFUL!!
From my daughter, Kim!

She had a groupon deal that was expiring
so she used it to send me flowers!
Is that not the sweetest thing ever?

I love  the flowers,
I love the thoughtfulness,
I love her!!

Melt my heart cute ♥

We have two busy days coming up.....
several things that involve food prep.....
I made a GF peanut butter pie tonight, yum!
Hoping to made a GF rhubarb dump cake to take to church on Sunday.....
if I get somewhere to purchase the rhubarb.
Also making ham and bean chili to take to church.
Always something going on around here!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Ahhhh, sunshine!! Too bad you have to buy rhubarb. My friend Peg has no idea what to do with all of hers! Ham and Bean Chili? Never made that! And wow! to Kim's flowers for you! What a lovely daughter/friend she is!

Jeanie, ham and bean chili is a recipe from Taste of Home magazine from years ago. It involves cutting some ham in cubes, opening some cans and dumping everything in a crockpot. Something I can handle on a busy weekend :)
