A Busy Weekend, Part 1

First - I am felling better. Not 100 percent yet but getting there. Appetite is coming back, energy little by little. I still wear out way too fast and it's frustrating! But, keeping Noah today went way better than I had even hoped.

Saturday started out beautifully warm. I could no longer stand the winter-ish decor I've had out since Christmas, so......I pulled out some energy from somewhere and put out a little color.

Needs a little straightening, which I did after the pic.
My hubby recently brought the little yellow bowl home from a job site.
It was going to be thrown out but he knew I'd love it....
and I do!!

This planter belonged to my Mother-in-law.
I love it!
and wish I had chosen a few more to keep.

Yes, the day was warm but it began changing fast.

Angry skies!

A tornado warning came over our phones.
Nothing came of it, thank God!

We later did get a thunderstorm with high winds.
I went to the basement because I was concerned a tree would come down!
None did.
I was home alone....
Dale was taking Ellen to work then ran an errand.
Corey and Christy were doing fun things with the kids...
one of the fun things was Hershey Chocolate World
where the ride suddenly stopped!!
They had to be escorted off the ride, one car at a time.
Memory maker =)

After the storms, a beautiful sunset....

And a little recliner relaxing!

The next day we celebrated this sweet girl.....

More picture tomorrow!

I'm ready for some Voice tonight, yay!!! Just love that show.

Glad you are feeling better. I am enjoying The Voice too!
Love seeing the birthday girl, Zoe!
Pretty sunset pics, too. We had rain today and it's cooler than it has been in a while.
Thankful you all are home safe after a scary weather day.
Love you - good night.

Glad to hear you are on the mend. Enjoyed your pictures this evening. Your touch of spring is nice and needed by this time of the year for sure.

Those sunset pictures are so beautiful!

I'm glad the worst of Saturday's weather missed your area. It's so sad to see the pictures of the tornado damage.

I'm glad you're feeling better.
