A Beautiful Day

This has been a hard week. I'll tell you why after I share some pictures from this beautiful day. It doesn't get much prettier in November around here.

PopPop came home just as I was putting the shoes on a certain young man with a plan to go outdoors....that is a favorite place to be for him!

How do I get on this thing??

There aren't any pedals so he rocks/shakes it like he's riding a horse!

He picked up some leaves and threw them in the 'gully' between properties.

This boy is a delight to both his grandparents. We are so blessed to be involved in his life (and his two siblings) daily.

So, now the reason this week has been so hard. I don't think I had ever mentioned on my blog that another one of my daughters was expecting a baby. That would be two grands in 2017. Well, on Monday our daughter, Greta, lost her baby. She was due in April. We are all so incredibly sad! Could I ask you to pray for my daughter and her husband? We know we will get through this and life goes on, but the pain of loss is very real.

God Bless your weekend. Weather around here is to change and become more November-like. I would rather keep it like today....but that's unrealistic.

I am so sorry and yes, I will be praying for Greta and her husband and all of you. What little boy does not love to be outside! Noah is so precious playing in the leaves. Sending love and hugs.

These pictures are great. Love seeing Noah on that pedal-less bike! I am so sad for Greta and Lynn in the loss of their baby. So sad for all of us. Praying.
