Chilly Saturday

The outdoors has a chill in the air. Feels like Fall.

I have a sore throat. I feel chilly, too. I had a cup of pumpkin spice coffee a while ago...maybe it's time for hot tea.

Corey, Gina, Aidan, and Zoe have all been feeling yucky this week. They are all better now, so I suppose I will feel better in a day or two also.

Hubby is scraping the floor in the bedroom we aim to redecorate. The old carpet was glued down...that means LOTS of work to make the old wood floor beautiful again. Oh my.

Corey and Christy had a house showing again this week. So did Marcy and Scott. We pray for these two houses to sell. (I'd like to place about 100 !'s behind that statement)

My house full of people is working out just fine...in case you were wondering. We like living with Corey, Christy, Aidan, and Zoe. There are times when I have gone away with dirty dishes in the sink and they were all washed when I returned =) Now please understand, that's not the only or the most important reason we are enjoying having them here!!

Blessings to you...enjoy today, enjoy the season, enjoy all the blessings which surround you!

I do hope you'll catch whatever is trying to make you sick before it gets you! I need to get back to drinking my tea - I just wasn't in the mood for it over summer. I'm not sure I would like it without honey, and I probably shouldn't use honey.

It's sounding blustery outside tonight - ugh.

Feel better Doris, you hear me? FEEL BETTER! We can't have you feeling bad:) I know you are enjoying having a house full:) I have been where you are and the only complaint I had (and tears) was when they moved out! Hopefully you all will stay together forever! I will be praying that their houses sell! Yep, let's get those houses SOLD! Have a blessed day dear friend, BIG HUGS!

Glad to read about the double house showings in your family and hope that good news comes soon. We remain waiting for the right folks to love and buy our home. Glad your extended family living arrangement is working out so well. Hope you are feeling better soon cause it's way too early in the season for a cold.
