A Whirlwind of Activity

Get ready for a bunch of pictures! It's been a whirlwind of attending Grandchildren events the past 24. Here goes....

A Graduation
Our Grandson, Andrew A. Aleong, graduated for JP McCaskey High School yesterday. The ceremony was held at the beautiful and large Lancaster Convention Center. The graduating class was almost 700 so the space had to be large.

Our boy got his diploma =)

 The proud parents!

Andrew gets squeezed by his Nana Aleong!

Another hug from his Aunt Krista.

 His proud Mama....
our oldest daughter, Kim

And his proud Daddy!

Kim snaps another picture!

I don't have any pictures of Dale and I with him, but he got lots of hugs from us too! We are so proud of you, Andrew!

Manny's Mom is so sweet. Last evening was the first time she saw me since I stopped coloring my hair. She said several times how much she liked it. She thought it makes me look younger...of all things! Like I said, she's a sweetheart!

A Soccer Game
Today was Aidan's last soccer game. He has a tournament next week but we won't be able to attend. Aidan really wanted us to come. We went to see him play. Oh my, it was sooooo hot!

 Aidan looks so hot!

 Little #2

They rest in the shade and the coaches spray them with water!

They were to play 3 games
but because of the heat, they called the third one.

We started out sitting on the sidelines in the sun. After awhile, Corey decided to move into the shade under a big tree at the end of the field. I decided that was a smart idea and joined him. Dale and Ellen soon followed!  Much better in the shade.

We left the soccer games, went to Corey's house to freshen up and change because....

Dance Recital
Off we went to Paityn's dance recital! Oh my, how cute!! Paityn's group did two dances, one ballet and one tap. We couldn't take pictures during the recital. This one was after it was over and the dancers gathered on the stage.

There she is, our little dancer!
Brinley seems to be admiring them.

 Beautiful girl!

With her Mommy and her Pop Pop.

She is as pleased as can be with her flowers!

We were so hungry by the time the recital was over because we hadn't had time for lunch. Neither did Marcy and Scott. Friendly's in Centerville was the choice to fill that need. Scott's parents came too. (we didn't know till we were finished that it was Scott's Dad's treat. How nice of him. Thanks, Smitty!!) We had a wonderful time and the food was delicious! By the time we were done eating, it was time to head to the mall because Gina was finished working.

Whew, it was a whirlwind of activity! And we enjoyed every moment of it!

Whirlwind indeed!!! Love Andrew's graduation pics -- and congratulations to him & your family! Aidan looks like a champ at his soccer game -- and that he just has so much fun playing! Then what could be more adorable than your little princess Paityn in her recital! She looks like a natural :) Thanks for sharing these special family moments with us ... I need to catch up on the past several weeks & get some of Lucy's recital pics on my blog too.
