Putting Away Christmas

It was a bright and sunny day. Cold but sunny. I looked at the tree this morning and saw dust. Aidan has real issues with dust. So I decided to take everything off the tree and put Christmas away today. Feels too soon, but next week would feel too soon for me, too!

Time to put it back in the box =(

Time to take the boxes back to the attic =(

Oops! I forgot these!
I'm thinking about letting these up awhile longer.
Way too soon it's all over. I love Christmas and am sad to see it go away. I feel that way every year!
My focus returns to cleaning out, getting rid of excess and getting this house SOLD!
That thought makes me a very happy girl =)

The house always looks empty once the decorations come down! I am praying for you guys to find your forever home.

You do have a beautiful artificial tree. Some day I must try to find one. I keep on praying for your housing situation. Waiting and uncertainty is hard work, I know.

Wow, you really did it! Maybe next week for me. I have so much catching up to do at work, and then going away this weekend. See you Sunday!

I have most of the decorations down and in the attic except for some snowpeople:) I enjoy the Christmas tree but it was the first to come down! I pray you all have good luck getting the house sold! Can't wait to travel that journey with you! HUGS!

As soon as we return home next week, we will be doing the same thing, Doris. And, our goal is the same as yours too. Hope this year brings good house sale news for both of us.

Your decorations were so pretty. It's a big job taking it all down (not as much fun!) Hope your house sells quickly!
