A Blessed Day

Monday was a day with my 2 little ones. I always feel so blessed to be able to be with them. Zoe and Aidan both have colds. Zoe was having a hard time sleeping so she was a little bit fussy. Greta was home and worked really hard at helping her to sleep enough to feel happy. She did! Zoe was so much happier after a long enough nap. Aidan didn't nap. He doesn't always anymore.

Aidan was looking for a movie to watch. I took him to a drawer that holds lots of old VHS tapes. He chose a Barney video that was Ellen's. He LOVED it! Watched it twice! Gina and Greta fell in love with Barney when they were really little. They had Barney toys and a set of Barney towels. I could not stand the show but got used to it! Ellen also enjoyed the Barney show.

I needed to make dinner. I looked through my Taste of Home cookbooks....came up with a meatloaf, potatoes and oatmeal choc. chip cookies, all in the 2006 book. It was all very yummy! Some leftovers went home with Corey.

Gina wanted me to take pictures. She misses the little ones. They hope to come home for a day next week. Some pictures...

I had just finished feeding Zoe her bedtime snack....Oatmeal and Mango!

Oh well......

Big brother Aidan decided to get in on the action!

One thing for sure, Zoe is CRAZY about her brother.

And Aidan certainly loves his sister!
