Spring Flowers and Zoe's Performances

 Continuing with May activities.

But first,

a few spring flower pictures.

Our neighborhood is so pretty in the spring!

Most of these flowers are now past

and the rhododendron's are blooming.

No photos of those yet...

but I need to get on that because they are over so fast!

Zoe's two big performances.

Tuesday May 10

Clipper Stadium.

Earlier this year

granddaughter Zoe auditioned to sing the National Anthem

for a Barnstormer's baseball game.

She was chosen!

May 10 was the date that suited for her to sing

and of course many friends and family

came to cheer her on!

On the field with her parents and an uncle and cousin.

The sun was very bright!

Grandson Andrew, daughter Kim, sister Mary Ellen,

grandsons Noah and Aidan.

I  didn't take many pictures with people in them, sadly!

Brave Zoe waiting to sing!

I just love this pic!

She is sooo much braver than any of us.

I've often sung in front of people

but not this song (it's a hard one to sing!)

or in a stadium. by myself!

And she is 12 💖

SOOOO proud of this girl!

She sang it beautifully.
There was a spot where she messed up a bit
but she kept on and finished strong.
Sooo proud!

And after singing,
it was french fry time!!!

Sunday May 15

Zoe has been taking voice lessons virtually
since sometime in 2020.
The  recital was held at a church near our home
on that Sunday afternoon.

Our neighbor and good friend of Zoe's also takes voice
with the same teacher.

We got to enjoy hearing them both!

Both girls did an amazing job!

Totally enjoyed all the performances,
all levels of piano and a few voice!

Till the next time...
because there is still more fun that's happened in the month of May!

Zoe is very brave to get up in front of a group of people and sing. Not me!
You had a great Day and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Spring flowers are so pretty!
Zoe is amazing! I would never be able to do that (plus I don't have the voice for it) :) I can see why you are proud of her.
Sometime you should share a video of her so we can hear her.
