Figured an update was in order...
so sorry it takes me so long to post anything.
Life is kinda crazy here.
Christy had her surgery on Monday at PENN in Philadelphia.
It went well and we are thankful.
Yesterday she was able to sit out on a chair for a bit
but later her BP dropped
and they were having a hard time getting it regulated.
Today she is back in the OR.
It wasn't an emergency procedure but something the Drs
thought best to be assured that all is well inside.
We know many are praying and we are so grateful!
This is Christy and Corey,
taken in January at our family get together.
She is a special gal,
our son chose a good one! 💕
We woke up to beautiful snow Sunday morning.
Was so pretty!
On the way to church.
Later we watched the Super Bowl with the kids.
Their parents left before the game to head to a hotel nearer the hospital.
Christy needed to be at the hospital at 6am ...first surgery of the day.
The kids decided they wanted subs...
it's something they really love!
Ellen made a GF chocolate cake.
(Kind Arthur cake mix is just as good as my made from scratch)
Zoe decorated it.
Aidan though Harley needed a treat too...
we had to giggle at her enjoying her treat!
Her toy has peanut butter in it
and she LOVES it!!
Harley danced with Noah during the halftime show!
As promised....
Hubs put a can on the pole to deter the squirrels from getting the bird food.
Nice try but...
they are something, aren't they??
We had a good valentine's day too.
I put up some decorations and made a favorite meal and dessert.
Noah thought Bear looks bored! 😀
We are thankful that Noah is feeling better today.
He got a stomach bug and had a rough day yesterday.
He's eating noodle soup today. So thankful he can eat again!
Now we pray that no one else gets sick...
please, Lord!!
Take care and stay warm and well!

Thankful your Christy is ok. I know what you mean about praying the family stays well. Me too. Fun treat for doggie. I love the dancing. So cute. Blessings to you and your family. xoxo, Susie
Glad Christi is doing ok and hope today went well for her. Praying she is healing well tonight!
Looks like you had a fun night Sunday.
Your decorations look good!
Prayers for Christy to improve every day! I am thankful that Noah is feeling better too. That stomach bug is nasty:( Love your beautiful snow pic! Those squirrels are something else, they find a way to get to the feeders! We watched the Super Bowl, just the two of us and enjoyed finger foods with a fire burning in the fireplace. Praying that your day is blessed and that you can kick your feet up sometime today! Love you!
Thanks for the update on Christy and hope that her recovery continues to go well. Looks like a fun Sunday football party at your home, Doris. The snow was lovely to see.
Praying.
