It's Tuesday.
I'm sitting on my bed while
Ellen is doing a virtual class at my desk.
She has gotten comfortable with using her
IPad for classes now,
so that means my computer has more free time.
Believe me when I say that she does not like change!!
I'll go through my pictures to see what is interesting to share.
Haven't taken many, I see.
Sunday, March 28
We are continuing to watch our church services at home.
Anxious to go back but we have more to think about then the three of us.
Our household has some health concerns that cause us to be cautious.
We have faith that it won't always be this way...
that is called HOPE!
(which is a favorite word these days,
along with JOY!)
Back to the egg hunt...
They had lots of fun!
I'm trying to gather items for Easter baskets.
Can you believe Easter is this coming Sunday already??
As I sit here I'm also watching the birds.
They are enjoying the feeder!
Every once in awhile a big woodpecker comes,
gets a seed and flies off!
Most of the birds are small...I think some are Chickadees.
And I just saw a female cardinal.
Robins are hopping out there too.
Leaves are growing on the hydrangeas and lilacs!
Hoping for blooms this year.
We don't always have them.
Today I pick up two orders
and I think I will stop at a greenhouse to get pansies.
I like to place bowls of pansies in the blue pots
by the front door.
Hope you are having a good day.
I need to get my act together
and accomplish something.
Although,
watching that big woodpecker is quite fascinating!!
(I'd take a picture but through the window is not satisfactory
and opening the door will scare the birds away.)

That breakfast is calling me... I guess it's all gone now but I sure could put away another plate of it. You have the right idea for breakfast!
That breakfast looks so good! I do my bacon in the oven too.
Glad Ellen is using that ipad. I'm not a fan of change either.
Love the flying bag and egg hunt. You're a fun grandma!
We haven't made omelets in a long time. It looks really good! I recently heard of someone who makes their bacon in the oven. When I mentioned it to my husband he crinkled up his nose. I don't think we'll be making it like that any time soon. :)
An Easter egg hunt is a great idea to keep the kids busy. Brilliant!
My hydrangeas are getting leaves too! I love Spring! The yard has been so barren, it's exciting to watch it come alive again!
Yes, we do cook out bacon in the oven and it is so much better to me than fried. Looks like the little ones had fun with the egg hunt.
That breakfast looks yummy. We are not going to in-person Church either. Our Church is very small and even though I am vaccinated, it just doesn't feel right being packed in a small space, gotta stay well. Egg hunts are so much fun and it is a great idea to have them more than Easter. I hope you have a beautiful day. Freezing temps are returning for us tmo morning. HUGS!
That Easter egg hunt looks like fun. I'm planning to have one here on Sunday for Austin and Hunter.
Your omelet looks beautiful. I make one for Dick almost every morning, but they're not very pretty sometimes. I don't care for bacon done in the oven as much as frying for some reason. I often do a whole pound of bacon cut in smaller pieces, then add in a lot of onions and peppers. When it's done I put it into ice cube trays and freeze, then transfer the frozen cubes into a quart freezer bag or two. That way each morning I just use two cubes to get Dick's omelet started. I can sleep ten minutes later that way, lol!
To answer your question, Doris, no we never do bacon in the oven or even microwave, always on the stove in a pan. The egg hunt looked like it was fun for the grands. Wishing you all a Happy Easter.
