No more Christmas; Winter, Cold, Sunny Day; God Help Us!

 Not much to say today

but thought I'd let you know I'm still kicking ☺

***********************************************

Christmas was put in bags and boxes this week

and today was taken up to the storage space

above the garage.

Sad but it was time.

*******************************************

I got myself a treat this week...

Ellen gave me a gift card from Starbucks for Christmas.
How nice!

We were out going from store to store picking up
curbside orders
and I thought it was a perfect day for a peppermint mocha.

I enjoyed it tremendously!

***********************************************

I'm thankful for a sunny day today.

A sunny day is my favorite!

It's cold and breezy
but hey,
it's sunny!!

********************************************

Yes, I'm extremely disturbed by the violence we witnessed in our
nations capital this week.

I'm praying lots these days!

God help us to desire you more.
Help us to rely on you alone for our help.

Help us to be more effective in being your humble and helpful
hands and feet to those near and far.

Help us to see those different from us as souls that you
care about and dearly love.

Help us to love more!
And please, Jesus, remove any trace of hate from our hearts.

Your peppermint mocha sounds perfect.
Love the sunny sky! We had that today too, even though it was so cold!
Praying here too.

Amen and Amen and Amen! I am disturbed by what happened at our Nation's Capitol too:( It makes me sad:( There are so many troubled souls, I prayed when I woke up for those with hate in their hearts. We need healing! It is chilly here too but if the sun is shining, it just feels better. Enjoy your Sunday dear Doris, HUGS!

Our holiday decorations were put away this past weekend and it certainly is more fun putting them up and taking down, but all went well and I only missed a couple of small decorations which will remain in the apt until the 2021 Christmas season. This year has gotten off to a troubling start and hopefully things will get better in time because they certainly can't get much worse it seems.
