Merry Christmas from our house of 8!
I've wrapped gifts...
I love wrapping!
Made little candy favors for everyone.
Something I don't usually find time for.
Yay for a less busy 2020!!
Little plastic ornaments from Target
M&M's from BJ's
Ribbon and bells from Dollar Tree
We made treats for everyone...
Noah wanted to help with the cereal one.
Onion pretzels...
always!
Finally watched Elf!!
I love that movie!
A cardinal blessed us one foggy morning.
Long awaited packages actually showed up!!
Yay!!
Ellen was happy to see this...
they aren't a Christmas gift.
Yes two pairs of the same shoe because
she needs two different sizes.
Gingerbread making, houses constructed and decorated!
So creative and beautiful!!
The family all have their gifts...
(no big gathering or us this year)
Delivered to this family yesterday.
Daughter Marcy and her family!
The kids gifts were already placed under the tree before I took this.
Daughter Greta and her family came over last evening.
So did daughter Gina and her soon to be husband Justin.
But Ellen was using my phone for a zoom session
so I couldn't take a picture.
wait, I could have...I do own a camera.
(insert hand to forehead here!)
Daughter Kim came this afternoon.
And I forgot to take a picture.
Oh my, my brain is failing me!!
Now I must get moving on the duties for today...
finishing up laundry,
making dinner,
participating in our church's candlelight service.
O course we will be participating from our living room
which is just fine.
Our church, Manor Church,
gave gift bags including the candles, activity pages for kids,
candy and hot chocolate too.
Now to find a lighter to light them when it's time ☺
May you all have a blessed time celebrating the reason.
It's been a difficult year for sure,
but I hope and pray you are still finding Joy!

Merry Christmas with love to you and yours! Oh, I enjoyed your photos so much. God bless you all at Christmas and in the new year.❤️🎄
You've been doing some fun things! I like your candy favors - so cute!
The gingerbread houses are great and looks like everyone had fun.
Poor Ellen - different sizes makes it more difficult and expensive to buy shoes. :(
Glad you got to see the family. We are seeing our daughters and families separately too and will skype with our son in KY.
Doris and Dale, Our best wishes to you and your family for as happy a holiday as possible and all in all it will be happy because all family and friends are well and safe and at home celebrating and that is enough of a gift this year. Your family activities looked like a lot of fun for the grands!
I have been blogless for a few days. Busy, busy! I love seeing all of your people enjoying Christmas. Those onion pretzels sound yummy, looking for the recipe:) Have a blessed "day after" dear Doris, HUGS!
Finally catching up here! How nice that everyone could get their gifts one way or another! I had to be a lot more creative this year, for sure, but it was fun the way we did it.
PRAYING lots of us can get that vaccine soon and be able to be together!!!
