Birthday's, Anniversary's, and Creative Projects

This past week flew by.
How in the world is it nearly the end of August already??

August is a month of birthdays and anniversaries for our family.

Andrew (grandson)

Our tall guy next to his short Nana!

Carson (grandson)
we took his gift to him yesterday...

He is so cute!
He is 6 and is doing home school kindergarten.
I asked him if he likes his teacher...that made him laugh.
Of course he has a great teacher...his mommy!
She told him to tell me what his favorite part of school is...
Carson said, when it's over!!!
That made me laugh!

Justin (Gina's fiance)

Hope to get to see them today!

Ellen (daughter)

Ellen is our youngest.
She will be 26!!
We are planning a very special time away this week for her birthday.

Paityn (granddaughter)

This girl has grown even taller since this pic was taken at Christmas.
She will become a teenager this week!!

This past week was Corey (son) and Christy's anniversary.

Ellen and I made a favorite dessert to celebrate!
(we live with them so celebrating was easy☺)

Chocolate chip pudding pizza!

AWWW!
Aren't they so cute?

Kim (daughter) and Manny's anniversary is this week.

Sorry, no picture
because blogger is being ridiculous today and I give up!!
Ugh.

Creative projects keep popping up around here...

Love it!!
Living with grandchildren keeps life full and interesting.

Zoe is quite the artist.
She loves crafting!

Dale, Ellen, and I attended the 9a service at church this morning.
So good to be there even with wearing masks
and seating being spread out.

As much as I am tired of Covid
we still have so much to be thankful for.
May I never forget that!!!

We came home and I made bacon for the three of us,
made eggs and a hash brown patty for Ellen
(Ellen makes her own toast)
and a broccoli, pepper and cheese omelet for me.
Dale made his own eggs the way he likes them.
New Sunday tradition for us since we aren't ready to eat in a restaurant yet.

Take care, stay well!
We aim to do the same. ♥

Wow! You DO have a lot of celebrations in August! We do too! Frank and Lauren's anniversary on the 4th, Bianca's birthday on the 9th, Jada's on the 17th, now Elizer's on the 18th, V'anni's today, and Lori's on the 31st.

Have fun with Ellen!

best wishes to all your family members on their birthdays, Doris. It was fun to see everyone and especially without mask wearing. which I know is still so important, but smiling and happy faces are so nice to see.

Doris, Wow, You look so tiny next to that tall grandson. I feel like I must be shrinking when I get around my grandsons. LOL. Your sweet Ellen does not look much older than about 15. So cute swinging with that bear. So wonderful to be able to see your family. It's so hard to be away from our loved ones. Blessings, stay safe, xoxo, Susie

You have had a full month of celebrating! All your grandkids are so cute. Even the tall one (ha, ha). Glad you got to go to church. Hope you get some cooler weather. We will be out your way on September 16th to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. Lancaster is the place to celebrate.
