Mother's Day Weekend

We are having a very rainy week. It's rained everyday since Saturday. There were a few hefty storms too. Not a fan of those!

Here's a few pictures to prove there still is a sun behind all those rain clouds! These were taken on Saturday before the rain began.

Our neighborhood is quite lovely!

Love blue skies!

Saturday evening we babysat our daughter Marcy's children while they went to a wedding. Cambrie was not terribly happy to be here.....unless the older kids were playing near her. She has the daintiest cry I have ever heard! Pop Pop took her for a stroller ride....he said he didn't know if she was enjoying it but she wasn't crying =)

Zoe and Brinley played in the sand.
That old dump truck
(we usually have it under the table to collect sand
which Noah puts down the umbrella hole)
was a gift to Corey when he was a little guy ☺

Aidan and Paityn went for a bike ride.
Aidan didn't want his picture taken....

Can you see him hiding behind the tree?
Gotcha, kiddo!!

We had tacos for dinner
then more playtime.

Melt my heart!!

Cousins having a good time being together.

She is such a wonderful big sister....
and her baby sister just loves her!!

While I was busy Paityn changed her diaper and dressed her for bed.
What a big helper!

Movie and ice cream....

Brinley wasn't into the movie so she played with Noah's Lego blocks instead.
Check out Zoe's flamingo sleeping bag!

Cambrie played in the water
which helped keep her happy for awhile ☺

Tired kids,
tired parents,
tired Nana and Pop Pop, too,
by the end of the evening!!

Mother's Day.....

Lunch at Fuddruckers with some of my bunch!

Little cutie is all smiles.

Some eating, some still waiting.

I looked at Scott's burger.....
That thing was HUGE!!
It was fun watching him eat it =)

This kid!
Was he ever enjoying his milkshake!!

Lots to love right here ♥

After lunch I walked next door for a Starbucks
Venti coffee frapp with an extra shot, extra caramel drizzle,
and some whip, of course...
it was free because I was saving my points for something special.
It was special, alright!

Then I went home, climbed into bed
and read, snoozed, and read some more.

It was a very good day!

After a busy week, like many of mine are,
I get to go away for the weekend.

It's time for our PA sister weekend!!
We have the best time being together.

Of course we miss all the rest of our sisters
but we will be together in July.

Really need to pack a few things yet tonight.
Better get at it!

You had a wonderful Mother's Day. No wonder you were tired. That's a lot of kids to watch.

Thanks, as always, Doris for sharing the photos of your family and the grandkids. They are certainly growing up just as fast as our own. I will have a recent photo of ours on the blog soon. Nice photo of you and your sisters too!

You are so blessed! I love these sweet photos. I had to look twice at Cambrie...she is growing so fast. Love her curly hair. Pretty photo of you and your sisters, also. Have a very enjoyable weekend. xo
