Getting color!!

The wall under the blue is also painted a very light gray.

It looked really crazy when the ladder wasn't there.
Wish I had taken time to get a pic of it.
I went away and when I came back it was gone.
This morning the fireplace is getting a coat of
White Pepper,
a light gray but darker than the walls.
The wall to the left of the fireplace hasn't been painted yet.
Next, the gold is GONE!!!
Olive Gray to the rescue.

We are very happy with the changes. Love the paint colors. Love the safety of the railing. Oh, about that railing....Dale used a piece he took away and refashioned it instead of purchasing something new. He's a very talented guy!
That awesome blue is going to show up somewhere else before this project it complete. We love that blue!

You are really working hard and it shows because it looks beautiful! Love the grays. That's what I want for our house.

First, let me clarify, I am not doing any of this work! I cook, I clean, I babysit....renovation of any kind is not my expertise!! That's my hubby and son's job :). Can't really take any credit for the colors either. Christy, my dil, had this color scheme in mind. I am as pleased as punch with the outcome! Thanks for you kind words, my friends!

It looks so nice! Dale is doing some fine work, and I'm impressed with his ability to be doing all that work so high up. I couldn't handle that!
