This and That

A little bit of this and that today......

It's thundering and raining lightly but I see blue skies!

Some pretties around the yard....

Even though they are fading, they are still pretty.

Canna lilies are beginning to bloom! I'm glad they like this spot we chose for them.

Yesterday our daughter, Greta, told us that the baby to come in December is a boy!

Here is Daddy, Lynn, and big brother, Carson, sharing the good news =) We are thrilled!

On Sunday, which was a fifth Sunday, some of the children helped with worship.

That's our Zoe in the pink dress!

Scott B. gave the message, something he has been doing the fifth Sunday and we all enjoy. He uses many props, sometimes it's people!

Isaiah was told to come sit next to me with his jar that looked like it contained water. To our utter surprise, when he put his finger in it, it turned to a powder-y substance!! Other kids had the same and sat near an assigned adult. This was too cool!!

Then he had Lynn come sit on a chair and asked 4 boys/men to lift him with just two fingers. They couldn't. But they prayed....

And.....

Look at that! This all spoke to points he made in the sermon. It was wonderful!

Yesterday I made a reservation. It's for a train ride!

Last Christmas I bid on a gift certificate for Bob Neff Tours....a local company which provides bus trips. I outbid a competitor and the certificate was ours! A mother of one of Ellen's friends leads several tours for them. We wanted one of those....I finally remembered to ask her what day trips she had on her agenda. One was this train ride in W. Virginia. Ellen loves trains so we booked a ride. Can't wait!

That's all I have for today. Lots going on to keep me busy this week but I'll not bore you with the details ;-)

Happy Wednesday to you!

That trip sounds amazing!!

I would not be bored with the details! Someday when you're an old lady you'll enjoy reading about all you were doing when you were young and energetic, LOL!

That train ride sounds like fun! I am so glad you include the children in things in your church. It's so important to have them a part of it. I know just where your church is. I pass it all the time when I am out in Lancaster County. You are right near Katie's Kitchen and the tractor supply place, aren't you? Such good news about a new grandson. Yay!
