A Super Party

Yes, we had a party on Super Bowl Sunday. Because of illness and several Sunday's that some of us had scheduled small group meetings with church family, we, our Fahnestock family, have not been together since Christmas. It. Was. Time!! Some of the Smith family joined us too. The Smiths have hosted our family for many a Super Bowl party....only fitting that they now join us.

Pictures.....of course!

Marcy and Scott watch the National Anthem. That song gives me chills every time.

We had food, lots of food! Paityn helps herself to some goodies.

Gathering around the kitchen table.

Carson finds a spot to eat :). Daddy and Mommy are nearby. Mommy is busy doing some Cambrie holding!

Dear baby got passed to many arms.

Looks like Zoe is in baby heaven!

Aunt Gina gets her turn.

Aunt Kimmy and Noah are loving the baby too :)

Noah just loves her!

Nonny, Maelyn and Jess.

Carson had so much fun playing with Noah's toys.

Aidan really wanted to make a cake. I had decided not to make one this year but how can you turn down a sweet request from a dear grandson?? I couldn't! So we....Aidan, Zoe and I.... Measured and poured and stirred. A GF carrot cake all decorated for the big game :)

He was pleased!

Dancing with Lady Gaga!
Couldn't convince Aidan to join in.

Carson's face....he's enjoying our show!

Our dancers take a break.

And I get my turn with the baby....
My heart just melts....love this wee one!!

It was a great party. I love having a houseful of people. I love hearing loved ones laugh and yell (at the game!!) and I love hearing children play. Some were happy with the win and many were not. BUT, the biggest star of our party was not a game. It was a baby.  A baby that came to Nana and Pop Pop's house for the very first time. And that brought great joy to all.

Cambrie is such a tiny sweetheart! Looks like a fun time together. You are blessed to be able to spend time with everyone. I love the cake and I could not have turned down Aidan's request, either!
My nephew/wife (Ella and Cole's parents) got to attend the game last night.
