Easter 2015

Easter Day was delightful. I'll start with the photos I took with my phone. I tried to get the photos off my camera but am having issues.

Not all the kids/grands could come. We squeezed 14 people around the table....any more and a second table would have been a must!

All eyes are on....

.....this sweetie :)

Aidan and Paityn being silly!

One side of our full table.

Sweet Brinley is loving that purple peep :)

The only pics I have of this side of the table...and Scott is being silly :) ( on every one!)

After lunch Gina and Sam hid eggs for the kids. All those pics are on my camera. I'll post them next time.

Later, Greta, Lynn and Carson came. They had lunch with Lynn's family. Marcy, Scott and the girls had to leave for dinner with Scott's family.

Kim put a bunny bucket on Carson's head...I said he looks like Elmer Fud :)

We relaxed, talked, and laughed into the evening. Of course, we ate some more too.

Aidan needed to read his book for school. Christy suggested he read it to all of us.
He sat in front of the fireplace to read. He did such a great job!

He shows the pictures to his audience.

He makes sure that everyone can see.

Zoe wants a closer look. She went very quietly so not to disturb him. Such a thoughtful girl!

Good job, Aidan!!

I was tired at days end and filled with joy. So blessed by our wonderful family who loves being together. I'm quite crazy about our bunch!

Monday was a beautiful day. I took time to sit on the porch and listen to the birds. It was so nice to not feel cold!

First to bloom here at our home. Aren't they pretty?

Zoe uses chalk to outline her doll....Sam drew each of the kids on the walk on Sunday. The kids later drew an outline of their BIG cuz, Andrew. You started something, Gina and Sam :)

Christy and I did some shopping at BB's discount grocery this afternoon. We loaded up on a bunch of good stuff. Love it when we can do that.

Blessings to you this fine evening!

Looks like you had a wonderful day! Time with family is the best. What a good idea to have Aidan read out loud.

The times we are with family are the best! Loved seeing your pictures from Easter dinner. The kids never cease to amaze me and I am sure you feel the same way.

That picture of Aiden reading his book to everyone is so cute. Sammy tells me to hold the book like that when I read it to him, hahaha!
