Our girl Ellen, the Cheerleader

Ellen loves to Cheer. She had an awesome opportunity to cheer at a High School football game on Friday night. Donegal HS cheering squad volunteers their time to help our girls at the UDS flag football games. They invited our girls to cheer with them during the third quarter of their last regular season home game.....there aren't enough words to express how much this meant to our girls! It was a fantastic time and more!

We sat in the stands until it was time to cheer. Ellen was very nervous....but trying not to let it show :)

We watched the Donegal girls do their stuff :)

There she is... Our girl is out there ready to cheer!!

She's having a wonderful time....

Go Ellen! My heart was swelling with pride.... This meant the world to the parents too.

They are having so much fun!

They gather for a group picture.... Then we are finished. I think we were all floating on air as we exited the stadium :)

They gather for another picture... These kids just experienced a thrill of a lifetime and it shows on their faces, don't you think?

There were LOTS of hugs and thank yous to Deb, the squad leader. Forever grateful to her, yes indeed.

One more pic of our girl....

One thing she always wanted to do was to be a Cheerleader. And she is! Look at the huge smile.... She's living a dream come true!

I wrote a comment and it went to "lala land", so frustrating.

I'm thrilled that Ellen and her friends had this opportunity, and that your schedule gives you opportunity to enroll Ellen in the special things she has done since you quit at Pleasant View.
