A Blue Evening ♥

Our daughter, Greta, is having a baby in August. Yesterday evening we hosted a baby shower for her here in our new home. As I was preparing for the party, it seemed like Blue was popping up everywhere. Yes, it's a baby boy  =)

Guests arrived, we ate a light supper of sandwiches, veggies and fruit.
I didn't remember to take any pictures of the food.
Guess I was busy =)

This house is made for parties,
room to sit in several areas....

Friends and family in the dining room.

 Family around the kitchen table.

Family in the family room.
Grandma Fahnestock came ♥
(my setting was not correct again, fuzzy pic)

The Good family tries out my favorite spot...
the screened porch.
They all said they know why I call this area my favorite =)

After eating, The Mommy-to-be opened her gifts.
My pictures did not get good so I'm borrowing some from others.

Grandma Mary made this adorable quilt/wall hanging.
Isn't it the cutest?!!

Everyone is looking towards Mary (in blue)
the fantastic quilter ♥

Paityn and Brinley were willing helpers.
Brinley helped open and Paityn kept Greta busy by
keeping the next gift coming =)

Zoe wasn't at the party. She wanted to be with her daddy that evening.
Zoe turning down a party was a surprise to all of us!

We ended the evening with cake and ice cream.

My beautiful girl!

What an awesome cake!
Sue, Greta's MIL, ordered the cake.
It was SO good!

These girls have been friends through high school
and the friendship continues!

What a fun time!
Baby Boy Good, we are so anxious to meet you
when mid August rolls around!
