Clean Up, Clean Out!

I have been working on cleaning out the filing cabinet.....last week!

Today I'm cleaning out a drawer in the desk we had in the computer room, now a play room.

Oh my. I keep coming across wonderful memories. I would scan some to show you but I can't seem to be able to get it to work. So.....

I had to take pictures.....

Can't get enough of the kid's artwork
or writings.

I intend to have a wall of artwork in our new home, somewhere!

I may never finish this job because I must look at everything.... and remember!

***********************************************************

Settlement on our future home has been delayed. It's ok....we can wait. Wasn't anything on our part which is causing the delay. That's a good thing.

Bless you today. Stay warm. It's another day closer to Spring!!

I love treasures like this found tucked away in drawers. That's a cute letter about the sprinkler!

I'm thankful that your waiting is almost over. God has been so good.

It reminds me of opening that storage trunk not too long ago! It had SO many memories of years long ago when my oldest Grandkids were VERY young! I also look at each piece and remember when they were little! Have a blessed day dear friend, I hope all goes well with the house plans!

I just can't throw away my precious treasures. I put the kids in the attic and told them they could throw them away when they got ready, but just can't depart. I have a trunk load that I keep close to pull out and read from time to time.

Finding treasured memories does take time to sort through and reading them again is definitely worth the time, Doris.

I missed this post! Yes, wouldn't it be wonderful if we just ever had time to really sit and enjoy those things without the need to "keep moving"?
