Enjoying the Calm

Yes, I am enjoying the calm before the storm.....

....while I pray for the God to calm the storm. Predictions say our area will be hit hard by Sandy. It has only been 13 months since our area endured flooding from another hurricane/tropical storm. This time we are to experience high winds as well.

God have mercy! Can I count on your prayers as this storm moves up the east coast? Pray for those in it's path. Join me, and many others, who are asking for the storm to be calmed.

Blessings to you!

I worked outside all morning, it is so calm today, I'd like to think the storm will lose it punch and fizzle out! I WISH!! I put the patio chairs in the shed, took down the hanging plants, etc. Getting ready, just in case.
I love the pictures Doris, I took lots of pictures of my plants this morning too. My lavender mum is just beautiful, I don't want the wind to break it.

Doris, I hope that all of us are spared this storm's wrath. I just returned from a week away in NJ and the weather was so calm and warm there as here at home in VA this past week, that it's so hard to wrap one's head around the dire predictions the forecasters keep saying. Grenville already took precautions here at home and stacked all the patio furniture and took down flags and flagpoles. We will hope and pray for the best for everyone.
