It [almost] Causes Me to Panic....

What would cause me to feel the rise of unease....so much so that I would be near panic?

I'm almost too embarrassed to tell you.

But confession can is good for the soul =)

My computer cord met a near demise some time ago. It got caught in the reclining sofa foot rest workings, nearly severing it. Oh no. But, Hubby to the rescue. He taped it up and....it worked!

But. Yes there is a but. It no longer always works. This morning as I was reading blogs and FB and email and..... I read the Bible, I do research, I look up real estate listings......
the.power.cord.stopped.working.

It would not charge this little red contraption no matter what I did.

What would I do with out my computer.....how would I communicate with my friends....no one would know what the heck happened to me.

I almost panicked.

This evening I prayed again. I plugged it in. It didn't work. I felt sad and started to research power cords before the charge I had emptied.

Then, all of a sudden...it started to charge again. No kidding.

I thanked the Lord for hearing my concern.

(But I will continue to look for a replacement!)

miracles sure do happen. But sometimes I don"t even pray about it but its heavy on my mind and I think god knows that and gives a miracle. I know its just happened to me this week.

I would be so lost without my computer. I am ashamed to say my cats try to bite on my power cords and we have rigged them with all sorts of stuff to protect them!

Doris, those prayers may get you through awhile onger, along with the tape but looking for a replacement would be a better thought. Glad you were able to get a temporary fix to work so we should share your frustrations.

At least I still would have my phone, but that certainly wouldn't do all the music stuff I do on my computer. They have somehow become our lifeline, it seems!
