Felicitous Friday

Felicitous - just right for the occasion; fitting

We are approaching the end to another week. Looking back seems appropriate, just right, fitting.

We were blessed to have this precious family stay with us Sunday night

My sister Betty, her hubby Scott
    son, Isaiah and daughter, Merida
who is holding our granddaughter Zoe.
We were blessed to have these two precious children stay with us on Monday and Tuesday while their parents were at work
    Aidan
Zoe

We were blessed with a beautiful and fun day at Hershey Park

Thursday was a cloudy day. I was able to spend it at home which was nice. Hubby's boss took his employees to a Phillie's game last evening. I decided to treat Ellen and Greta to Pizza Hut for dinner......Ellen has been asking to go there. Before we left, the clouds turned to rain. It rained all evening. I felt so sorry for the guys at the game. I was imagining rain delays and possibly a game postponed. Guess what.....it only rained a little bit in Philadelphia! We are thankful for the rain we had here, though. Our flower beds and grass are in need of it!

So that brings us to today. I will work on a newsletter for our woman at church. I have more laundry to do. Also hope to get to a grocery store.

We are looking forward to -
  • Worshiping with our church family on Sunday. I will be singing with the worship team. I really enjoy that!
  • Lunch with the family after church =)
  • Beach vacation soon!!!
  • Gina and Joe being able to spend the week with us at the beach. So looking forward to that!
Happy Friday to all!

Wow! Didn't know dad was going to a phillies game. Too bad they didn't win and glad it didn't rain too much there. We watched the game, of course. We are headed to the phillies game on Saturday. See you Sunday!

Your flowers look amazing on the picture, despite the lack of rain! We got some good rain up here too.
