Georgia

That is where I have been. What a beautiful state! I know why my sister Rose and her family love living there. The reason for this road trip?  To attend the wedding of my niece Katie. A great reason to travel 13 hours!

I saw my first Magnolia tree.....beautiful! I also ate at a Chick-fil-A for the fist time......food and service was awesome! Another first....seeing my sister's home!

Here are a few more pictures.....I have too many to post tonight.

My beautiful baby sister, Rose
her beautiful daughter, Katie
her handsome hubby, Bob

The Wichterman family....
a casual shot =)

My daughter, Greta and
my sister, Mary Ellen
at the reception

Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Guffey
cut the cake.
Beautiful!

The dance floor was packed most of the time!

More details about our trip and more pictures to come!

I am popping over from Gg - Notes on the Journey to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for your recent support during my dad's open heart surgery. He is doing so well.

Over 60 comments with prayers and well wishes, including yours. Such sweetness. It helped me not feel quite so alone, having recently moved to Chicago.

Fondly,
Glenda
