Our Guest Room Suite

When we have overnight guests, our living room becomes a bedroom....

Queen size bed

If needed, a twin size bed is available.

The room comes with a TV, PS2 and Wii...
(although the space to play games is limited with the bed unfolded!)

The room comes with an attached handicap accessible bathroom.

Spacious roll-in shower.

The readers who are not familiar with our old farmhouse may wonder why there is a bathroom right off our living room! Let me explain. After our daughter Marcy was in a life changing accident in 1998, we needed to make a bedroom and bathroom on the main level for her. It served her well till she married and moved into her own home. Dale and I used this room as our bedroom for the next few years. Our family was growing in numbers and the living space in our home was feeling cramped when we all gathered here. So after Corey married, Dale and I moved our bedroom upstairs again and made the downstairs bedroom into a living room. When we purchased a new sofa last year we chose a sleeper sofa so we could accommodate guests. It works out perfectly! My sister Jean and her husband Dick are using our guest room suite this week-end. We love having them here!

Need a place to stay when visiting Lancaster County?

We love it!! It's like having our own little apartment. And it's kinda special that it's the very room in which we used to date and where we had our first kiss, hahahaha!!!
