Fun with my daughters

Have I ever said that I have great kids?? Well, I do!

Yesterday I had a really fun time with Greta. We went shopping. We had fun in spite of the pouring rain. And it was cold!

We first went to the new Ross store. We found a sweater we will share and I found a sweater for me (not her style!) each for $10. I love that store! Next, we ran to the car and tried to find a close parking space outside the Christmas Tree Store. Wasn't a close one to be found. Oh well. This new store is HUGE! What a fun store. And the prices are great. For several years I wanted to buy some red and gold chargers to put on my Christmas table. I found some for $1 a piece. I've been looking for a long time and this was a good price. There are some of better quality that sell for a whole lot more. But I figured I will use them once or twice a year. And the plate will cover most of the charger anyway. We also found a few other things. We then went to the VF Factory Outlet. I needed a pair of jeans, as did Greta and Dale needed some for work. Mine were the most expensive at $16.99, Greta's were $7.87 and Dale's were $5.87. I was ok with the price for mine....I tried many that were in the size I've been for many years. They just didn't fit correctly. I went down a size....perfect!

Today I had lunch at Park City with Greta and Kim. We ate at Arby's. I had a salad with roast chicken that was really good. I went to Park City today to fill out an application at Boscov's. I'll be a seasonal employee in gift wrapping. Should be interesting!

I saw my dentist today too. He pronounced me to be healing nicely. I'll go back in January to get the crown.

I'm in the process of making dinner. Better get back at it before some hungry people come through the kitchen door!

Have a great Friday evening and a wonderful week-end!

Good Morning, dear Doris!
Thank you so much for not only taking the time to visit my blog, but to leave a comment so I could stop and visit yours!!! (and also hear from a fellow mama of twins!). I am quite certain you would tell me how fast time flies...as your twins are now 21!!! (I will say that what I've been told 'the days go slow but the years fly by' is absolutely true thus far!). I am glad you were successful at Christmas Tree Shoppe..reading your blog made me remember I've always wanted Chargers too! ;) In my haste, I guess I overlooked those 1 dollar treasures.

Well, again, i thank you for making time to visit the Coffee Cottage and introducing yourself.
I hope you have a most wonderful weekend!

Warmly,
Jeane`

Sounds like a fun day of shopping.

It feels like I hardly got to talk with you today, but I did get to meet relatives I had never seen before. An interesting day indeed.
