Apples......I made the BEST apple cake the other day. I cannot keep my hands off of it! I found it on the blog Let's Dish. You can find it listed on my side bar. That apple cake is seriously the best I have ever tasted......really!
Pumpkins....I also love pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bars. I love pumpkin pie but I do not bake pies. Can't do the crust! We bought some pumpkin spice coffee which is sooooo good too!
Leaves.....it's starting to get pretty around here. Our trees are always some of the last to turn but the wooded area on the other side of the creek is getting pretty.
It's a crisp autumn morning. So refreshing! Time to make my breakfast smoothie and get something accomplished. The computer is still not up and running. But thank God for the modem only needing a new cord. Last evening that wasn't working either. Which meant I was completely un-connected to the world. Yikes!!

I, too, enjoy pumpkin and apple stuff this time of year. Scott said to check the power cord on the computer and make sure it is connected on the back of the computer. He thought one time when you had trouble with the computer that cord was loose on the back of the computer. Marcy

Marcy, I think Dad and Lynn both checked that.....at least my netbook is working =)) Maybe Lynn can connect with Scott with what he tried last night.
Fall is beautiful .I just don't like the season that comes next.
I enjoy anything pumpkin and I made some wonderful pies last week. The crust looked terrible but it was good anyway. The pie recipe was grandma Mary's. So good!
