Should be a good, good day!

Why is this day any different from any other, you may ask.

Because.....

I get to spend some of it alone....all by myself....no one from my large brood in the house!

Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love every single one of them.

But sometimes a Mom and Nanna needs to be all by herself!

So what will I do today?

I would LOVE to go shopping, but I won't. (we are in need of regular coffee, hubby told me this morning.....maybe I will go get some)

I would LOVE to treat myself to a wonderful meal somewhere, but I won't. (I have things right here to make a wonderful salad including tomatoes from our tiny garden....yum!)

I would LOVE to read a book in the quiet house. I think I'll do that.

I would LOVE to sleep, but I won't. I would feel so guilty I wouldn't sleep anyway.
     (p.s.   I just sat down....feeling sleepy......just saying =0)

I think I will work at getting the little bedroom ready to move Ellen's things into. I have it almost there.

If I get a bit of cleaning done, I'll be satisfied.

Not saving it all for Saturday means I can go to Ellen's cheering at the Challenger Football game tomorrow morning. Seeing the kids having a blast is delightful. The cheering is for kids with challenges also, a wonderful program from UDS.

It will be a great day!

Reading and napping sounds like a perfect time alone to me. Hope you got to do both.

Have fun tomorrow at the game.

It was a great day at our house, too, my husband's birthday.

Doris, thanks for stopping by my blog - so nice to meet you. I read your profile and we have a lot in common - I also love planning events for women.

Hope we can stay in touch.

Fondly,
Glenda

I bet if you laid real still and got real quiet, you would not have any trouble napping!

Just do something for yourself and ENJOY!

Love your header!
