A Holiday of Labor

Labor Day involved labor at our house. It usually does. I was determined to get Ellen's furniture into the small bedroom today. And I we did! I could not have done it myself, was so glad for my strong hubby! We set up a single bed that was Christy's. She insisted we use it rather than buy one for Ellen. Thank-you, sweet DIL Christy! Ellen really likes her new bedroom....so much so that she left her clothes lie on the floor when she changed this afternoon!! What am I going to do with her?!!

I now have Ellen's old bedroom to turn into a fitness room. We don't have a lot of equipment. I just hate going to our old basement to use it! I know Greta is looking forward to it too. She does go to the gym. But it's always more difficult to fit that in during school. She also works about 32 hrs.a week. She's one busy young lady.

Corey and Christy and the 2 littles are coming over for dinner tonight. We will have hot dogs roasted over a fire, baked beans, veggies and dip, fresh fruit, chips and chocolate cake. I bought some ice cream Popsicles too if anyone has room for them. It will probably get chilly again this evening but I am planning to eat outside. It was so hot all summer long that we have not eaten on the deck very often. If it gets too cold we can move our chairs to the little fire pit in the yard.

Happy Labor Day!

Glad you got Ellen's room done. Sorry we couldn't make it tonight. Sounds like a good time.
