Is there anything better than summertime food? I have so many good memories of family meals consisting of good garden produce and fruit fresh picked at the orchard or purchased at Roots. Yum!!
I don't have a garden (well, we do have 2 tomato plants) and I don't pick fruit from trees. I have not been to Roots since Gina and Greta rode in a stroller!!! But I did shop at Hilltop Farm Market today. I brought home some very delicious corn. I also cut up a very delicious watermelon I bought at Weis earlier this week. We ate outside on the deck. Just plain down wonderful.
