It's May!

It's a new month and I'm ok with it.

BUT,

it can go slower now!

Good grief, this year is going by so quickly!

Here's a few more happenings in the month of April...

Noah had mentioned having corn on the cob

and watermelon sooo many times.

And I always said it's too soon.

But at the discount grocery store

they had watermelon for a good price

and I found some corn on the cob at another store.

He was delighted!

The watermelon was pretty good

but the corn....

it wasn't that great. No surprise there!

(that day happened to be warm enough to eat on the porch)

I bought pansies!

(finally)

They will stay there till it gets consistently warm enough
to plant summer flowers.

We went to Cambrie's soccer game!

Little ones learning the game is interesting to watch!
She's adorable ❤

We had the family over for a picnic!

Last Sunday it was a beautiful warm day
so getting together felt really important.

We moved the tables from the driveway to the front yard
because the trees did not have leaves yet and it was hot!

Yes, for one day it was hot!

Sadly not everyone could come
due to illness.

But we will do more picnics as the weather gets nicer.

Had to do smores!
The fire felt good as the sun disappeared and got colder.

We have bluebirds!

This is the first year we have seen them.

So my hubby built a house,
granddaughter Zoe painted it
and the bluebirds seem to like it!

This cutie was all fluffy on a windy day!

Hubs built a feeder too
and they seem to like it!

The hummingbirds have returned...
but I have not seen them yet.

So thrilled they are back!

That's it for today.
Have a great first week of May!

I'll try to update soon
because this month holds lots of fun happenings!

Oh yes… picnics, watermelon and corn on the cob. Yum 😋. The picture of the fat fluffy bird is SO pretty. Worthy of framing. What a sweet family you have, it is great to be together. Hope the sick ones are better🙏🏼 Love you and appreciate our friendship❤️ Hugs

Yes to watermelon, but corn on the cob will definitely be better later on. The family get together looked great and hope those feeling ill will be better soon. Zoe did a great job with painting the bluebird house, colors of Ukraine. And the bluebird images were beautiful to see, especially the fluffy one on a windy day.
