Three Childcare Days

Wednesday seems like a good day to blog. Here's what's  happening in my world....

We have been responsible for the three Grands we live with while the parents were out of town from Sunday to Tuesday evening. I'm happy to say that all went really good.

Sunday morning we actually got off to church in decent time. It was also fellowship meal after the service that day........3 kids, two dishes of food, diapers, snacks, change of clothes for Zoe (oops, we did forget socks)!

Noah was finished eating and found a spot to chill!

In the afternoon Aidan and Zoe went to Paityn's soccer game. We headed home where Noah napped. Later the family came over. That's always wonderful.

Carson always has fun playing.

After everyone went home again, the kids got ready for bed then face-timed their parents. So special!
They all went to bed without issues, even Noah!

Monday morning -

Watch me, Nana.....

Good to the last drop!!
No one needs to tell a kid to do this.....
they all figure it out!!

I made the kids their favorite meal for dinner. No issues with eating, of course. So since we were finished by 6, the kids suggested a movie night. We never have a movie night on a school day, but why not make an exception this time?? Nana does a fair amount of spoiling of the kids when parents can't be with them. That's what we are for, correct??

They chose one of the Chipmunk movies.
They were into it.

This one, not so much =)

He had a fun time with his other Grandma for part of the day and was really tired. Would you believe he stayed sleeping all through the movie. He never even stirred as I took him up to his bed where he continued sleeping till 7 the next morning!

Even Aidan was sleeping by 9:30 that evening. Totally unusual for him. He's a reader and reads a long time before sleeping, usually.

Tuesday morning, look who's up at 7:30!!

Way to go, Aidan!
Another smooth morning getting the kids off to school,
a very good thing!

After school. Nana did some more spoiling......the parents were on their way home so we had to get this in!

McFlurries at McD's!!

Noah enjoying some ice cream,
 Aidan with his treat =)

Zoe and Ellen enjoying their treat too!

Took a shot of the three of them to send to the parents.
Cuties!

We picked up pizza for dinner because a lot was happening that evening. (baseball for Aidan, Women's Group for me. PopPop took Aidan, I took Ellen and the other two with me) The kids weren't very hungry.....I wonder why ;-)

It was a good couple of days.
As expected, the children welcomed their parents return with gusto!

I loved this! I was afraid those kids wouldn't want their parents to come back after all that spoiling, LOL!

My friend, you are going to get many crowns when you get to heaven, for loving and caring for those little ones. They love being with you too, I can tell. Bless you.

Fun to spend the time at Nana's house! I remember when the gk's would say, "Watch me, Nana!"

Sounds like everything worked out well, Doris. The photo of Aiden, Zoe and Noah enjoying their ice cream treats was lovely.

Isn't that a grandparent's job to spoil the kids? Looks like you had a lot of fun.
