A Few Pictures

Just a few pictures....

Cookie Walk ladies :)
L-R: my daughter Greta, my friend Sue who is also Greta's mil, my friend Rebecca who coordinated this event, me.

I ordered this on Tuesday and it arrived on Wednesday!! I'm set for another year. I love this tea and its increasingly hard to find it in the stores. So I took advantage the online discount......15% off and free shipping.

Update on the darn lights for the two pots of greens by the front door.....

While shopping at Christmas Tree Shops yesterday I saw lights for $2.50 a box. Bought two, one set for each pot....that works for sure. Brought them home and put them on the greens. The pot on the left looked great. The pot on the right, not so much.....only Half of the lights worked. So, I guess I return that box and try again :(  I did replace the batteries on the wreath so now those lights are bright and cheery at least :)

As I said, I did some shopping yesterday. I still have a few more gifts to purchase. I haven't wrapped a thing yet. Maybe tonight. I do love to wrap!

Dale and I are going on a little trip this weekend. Our son and his family (we live with them) gave us an early Christmas gift....tickets to the Micheal W Smith, Amy Grant and Jordan Smith concert in Baltimore! Jordan Smith won The Voice last year.....I'm a big fan of that show and a big Jordan Smith fan. Totally excited to hear him sing in person!! This gift includes a night in a hotel in walking distance to the concert. It's also a few blocks from Inner Harbor. We are instructed to spend Monday there....the aquarium is amazing and been years since we were there. In all the times we were at the aquarium....I was pregnant....with twins, we carried babies in back packs (more than once), we had elementary aged kids, teens.....never just the two of us!

Winter has arrived....baby, it's COLD outside!

Your weekend sound AMAZING!!!! What an incredible gift!! I got Jordan Smith's Christmas CD and I play it so loud on the old stereo Dick always brings in from the shed over the Christmas season. His version of You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch is INCREDIBLE. Ave Maria is fantastic too. ENJOY!!

I forgot to say that I actually found the tea in a store this year! I bought all but two of the boxes. Thought I should be nice and leave a couple of them there for someone else. That's why they're so hard to find in the stores. People like us, hahaha!

I confess to being a bit fanatical about that tea....I also bought 7 boxes at Stauffers. I restrained myself to not purchase all they had. I never want to run out of it because I can't find anything I like more. Salada no longer makes the blueberry green tea :(
I've not purchased the CD yet....maybe at the concert :)

What a super gift and hope you enjoy the concert. The porch looks so nice, and thankful you found and got your tea. I do things like that too...lol There are such a lot of cookies and look good.

What a great gift! That would be the ultimate for me. My kids were going to give us a trip to ICE at the Opryland Hotel but they are moving and so it wouldn't work out this year. We were going with so there will be another year. Have fun! You deserve it! I absolutely love your front porch and your sleds! Looks good. Thanks for hanging in there with me through all my murmurings.

I love Michael W Smith and went to one of his Christmas concerts several years ago. And you get Amy Grant and Jordan Smith too? It's going to be great!
Christmas lights can be so very frustrating!
