The Sun....and Vintage Stuff

We know the sun is out there but we have seen very little of it for the past week. Yesterday it surprised me when it paid a visit in the afternoon. I loved it!!

Shadows, yes!!

Our neighborhood is beautiful this time of year with dogwoods and azaleas. This year it's been rainy and cool for weeks so it's harder to enjoy the beauty.

Today it's, you guessed it, rainy and cold. It's about 54 degrees at noon.

Sunny and warm is still several days away.

In other news.....

We have an old trough that was on our porch at the other house. Dale acquired an old pump from someone he did work for......so now we have an item :)

He wants to make a water feature with this item. He would like to put it in the front of our house. Not sure about that so I went searching on Pinterest for some ideas.

* the pictures I posted are not working. Tried twice and they won't show. :(

* Trying again....third time the charm??

Cool, yes?!

We have some old chairs like these that need painted....

Maybe we will paint our chairs yellow :)

I love old stuff. Time to fix up some of the beauties we brought with us. Time to get them out of storage in Dale's shop and use them!

Enjoy your Tuesday! I'm trying to stay warm. A cup of coffee (decaf) will be in my hand really soon!
Longing to get on my porch again....

Rainy here as well this week, Doris, and hoping the sun appears by the end of the week.

Happy Mother's Day. Isn't it nice to be settled in your beautiful home and now to have time to get to the projects that have been on the back burner. The chairs with the yellow paint are so cheerful!

God bless you and your family today. xoxo

hi to Ellen!
