It's a beautiful day!

So pretty outside this morning. The birds are loving it too!

I had an 8:30 appointment with my new Doctor. I really like her. There are some things for me to work on if I want to be in good health as I age. Like, getting my blood sugar in better control (it's not way terrible but if I don't work at it harder than I've been, I will become diabetic. I DON'T want that!), getting my good cholesterol number up, exercise more, lose weight. Sound like enough to work on??? Oh my.

I need to get my drivers license picture taken. Yippee! That's always fun, haha. Today is as good as any.

Today is my son's birthday! On March 1, 1982 I gave birth to a precious baby boy. We were over the moon thrilled to have a son! Little did we know that day, he would be our only son...two girls older than him, three more girls younger than him. Happy Birthday, Corey!

Taken on Christmas Day at our loud and crazy family dinner :)

Christy has been working more recently. Dale and I were on all day kid duty last Friday and yesterday. The baby has been doing good for us. He doesn't nap easily so it's nice to have both of us. But, I know my hubby would love to be working again. Please keep us in prayer as he fills out many applications and hopes for a call to interview. It's been hard.

Time to head to the picture place for my mug shot :)

Blessings to you today! Welcome, March!!!

Happy Birthday to your handsome Son! I know that there are busy days around your house! A little one tends to keep a Grandma busy:) Hope you get your health numbers where they need to be. I have a family full of diabetics and I know that it takes lots of work. Enjoy your day dear friend with those blue skies above! Sending HUGS and PRAYERS your way!

I too wish Dale could find a job and one that he enjoys! My prayers continue for him.

Praying too that Dale will be able to find a job soon. I so remember Dick being in that long, disheartening search back in 2008 and 2009.

I remember the excitement of baby Corey's birth! What a blessing he is to you.

Yes, Doris, it's tough working on keeping healthy as we well know. And, like you, we are also committed to keeping healthy and luckily the senior center here has monthly screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure and other items.

Yes. I'm realizing I'm going to have to work harder to stay healthy, too. Happy Birthday to your wonderful son. Enjoy these sunny days. Won't be long til spring and daylight savings time!
