Beach Trip...day 2 and 3

Saturday morning we enjoyed a breakfast of bacon and scrambled eggs then piled into Reba's van to Cape Hennlopen beach.

What a beautiful day!

Ok, that's a little to close, seagull!

The four who came that day joined us on the beach...Yeah, the gang's all here :)

Ellen and Nicole enjoy the water splashing their toes :)
The water was much calmer than when we were in DE in August. That's a good thing since the beaches are not guarded after Labor Day.

It was wonderful!

A very important stop on the way back to the condo....
It was amazing....pumpkin spice frapp :)

Our dinner and evening activities were a celebration for Nicole's birthday.

Enjoying pizza!

Kelly saw to it that we were well fed!

After dinner we played a State Bingo...Mother/daughter teams.

What fun!

Nicole opens her gifts :)

Blowing out the candles!

Serving cake :)

Marissa loves to take pictures!

While the girls watched a movie, the moms gathered in a small area outside the second floor bedrooms where a sofa provided comfortable seating along with pillows and a bench brought out of bedrooms. We chatted, laughed too loudly (according to the girls!) and were not nearly finished when the movie was over and time for bed! Oh what a blessed time!

Sunday was cooler, humid as all get out, and cloudy. We had breakfast (baked oatmeal with peaches. Amazing!), cleaned up, packed up all our stuff and reloaded our vehicles.

Shopping at the outlets was our last activity. I love outlet shopping! Ellen does too.... when it's shopping for her :)

And that's the last picture I took.

We can't wait for our beach trip next year! We are going back to that great condo again...it was perfect for us.
