A week since I posted.
A week of getting used to the absence of a precious person who is no longer with us. Even my two Grands that we live with are talking about how different our family gatherings will be.
A week of spending time with family. That was a wonderful thing!
It has been quite a week.
Today I will post some pictures taken during this past week. They are all taken with my phone.
We had a dusting of snow Saturday morning. I wasn't thrilled. There were several snow squalls in the afternoon too.
Ellen is getting on the school bus. She is the only one in this neighborhood to get picked up at the house.
I took out some trash and this robin just ignored me and kept hopping around on the driveway. Pretty bird!
Blessings!

Hi Doris, You and the family have my deepest sympathy in your loss. Oh, not more snow! Hoping that spring warmness comes to you soon so you can enjoy your porch. Easter blessings to you all with love.
Such pretty pictures, of the flowers sent, and the scenes outside.
I'm sorry for your loss. The flowers are pretty, the snow - not so much!
I laughed at your shoes. I did that once - wore one blue, and one black shoe to a meeting at work. :)
Blessings to you dear Doris! I know you all will miss that sweet smile, Heaven gained an Angel and she is for sure smiling today:) Have a blessed day dear friend, love the sunrise and sunset pictures! HUGS!
All seasons wrapped up into one week --- a season of thanks for all His blessings (beautiful sunrise and sunset, promise of spring) and a season of grieving for your loss of your dear mother-in-law. Praying for His rich blessings on your family at Easter and always. {{and I can relate to your shoes pic... my motto is "at least I don't have to repeat the day"}}
The family gathering will be sadder for your loss, Doris, but the memories will last. Wishing yiu a Happy Easter. And, yes, we also had snow all day on Sat but luckily no accumulation.
The flower arrangement from Amber is so beautiful. I wonder if she used the flower shop in Mount Joy. Their arrangements are so creative.
Yes, Mary Ellen, that's where it came from. It's still pretty even though it's way past it's prime!
