Good Grief, it's Cold! (too cold for a clever title)

If you don't hear from me for a week or two, it could be because I'm under the covers and I'm not coming out till spring. Could be!

Cold, snow, wind, cold, snow.....no school (MLK day), no school (snow), no school (snow, wind, cold), 2 hour delay today (at least they went!), no school (scheduled in-service day).....this is our week!

Our kids will be in school till the middle of June, for sure.

Anyway, one cannot deny the beauty of the great outdoors this time of year. I did not adventure too far from the door.

Tuesday, a day of snow....

Snowing....

and blowing.

Wednesday.....

Blues skies, but bitter cold!

Dale helped his boss clear snow in a neighborhood not far from here, starting at midnight Tuesday night into the early hours of Wednesday morning. He said he was warm enough, but the bottle of Propel he had inside his jacket in a shirt pocket had ice in it when he was finished! No kidding!

Christy  and I are going to venture to a grocery store this morning. We are so in need of groceries!!

I hope to have some good news to share soon. We put an offer on a house, it was rejected, we countered and now we wait. We won't counter again. So, if this is our house, it will be accepted. If not, we continue to look. Saying many prayers these days! Also, praising my God in the wait...because it's the right thing to do!

Bless you today, my friends. Stay warm!

The snow is pretty! Even GA is cold today. I don't envy you having to get out to the store. Praying for you as you wait on your house.

I do remember that in 1994, when we had a winter just like this one, we had school until June 14. Sure makes for a short summer vacation.

Anthony left for Anaheim, California this morning, but when he comes back at the beginning of next week we'll be right back down to zero degrees. Can you imagine?

I would like to see a LITTLE snow:) NOT a lot, just a little! Can you please send me some:) I just got back from a huge grocery shopping trip! I NEEDED SO MUCH! When you are out of milk and bread, it is time to go:) I also had one more day of coffee and EVERYONE knows I gotta have that!

I have SO many prayers going up these days! I told my friend last night that at the end of my prayers, I say "Dear Lord, AND all of those I promised to pray for and may have missed"! He knows:) Praying for the right house for your sweet family at the right price! Love you my friend!

We had a lot of snow for our area at nearly 5 inches so Pat was happy and even got to use the tractor to ouch some away from the parking areas. Hope all goes well if this will be the house you hope for.

My son and family were down in Florida before the last cold spell and came back to 0 degree weather and Jeremiah cried so bad because it was so cold and his face was so red and it hurt so bad. That was a shock to the system after being in 70 to 80 weather. Pray that the house will come through for you all
