Special Saturday

Saturday was a special day to celebrate the Penryn Volunteer Fire Company's 100th year. Penryn is a small village `up the road'.

A parade was scheduled for 12 noon. Ellen has cheering till noon. But she loves a parade too. She decided to leave the game at 11 and go see the parade. We took our chairs and joined those waiting along the street.

We saw......

Fire Engines
old and new!

That looks like fun!!

 Manheim Central marching band
is coming down the street....
Ellen loves a marching band!!

Tractors

A few floats

This group of kids was awesome

So cute!!

Loved this band!

This one received lots of chuckles and applause!

The festivities were not done with the parade. There was a fireworks display with music after dark. It was an awesome show!

Thanks, Penryn Fire Company. We had a great time celebrating with you!
