Playing Nurse

I'm not a nurse but I've been called to do some nursing for my family from time to time. It's time again. I hope it will be brief. Not so much for me (although I don't think I'm good at the job!) but for Greta's sake.

This morning Greta had all 4 of her wisdom teeth extracted and implant surgery to replace a broken tooth/cap from an accident she had in 10Th grade. She is resting on the pull out sofa in the living room. She has ice packs on her cheeks to reduce swelling. The front tooth implant hurts the most. The flipper (the temporary tooth the dentist made till the area heals and a permanent one can be put in) is too loose and needs adjustments. The dentist just called and we will see him tomorrow.

Please keep her in your prayers. This is our third child to have wisdom teeth extracted. That alone would have been enough, although one usually recovers quite quickly. The implant was also done today so she would only need one time under anesthesia. That makes a lot of sense. But it's a lot to recover from. Praying it all heals quickly and the pain will be minimal. Please, Lord!

This is Greta taken during our GA trip in May
