Aidan and Zoe

 Fun at the Mall.....

Nana's treat....YUM!

Nana didn't get me any......

Gotcha!
She got me a dish of ice cream!
and I ate the whole thing too =)

This is one fine treat, Nana!

And then it was time for a ride, of course......

Nana's treat, again =)

Aidan is a good driver!

 Zoe loves this ride...
there were lots of buttons to press and they make sounds
and some light up too!
(Zoe loves to press buttons, TV control, DVD, VCR players, telephones!)

Another fun day spent with these two. I am so blessed!

Felicitous Friday

Felicitous - just right for the occasion; fitting

We are approaching the end to another week. Looking back seems appropriate, just right, fitting.

We were blessed to have this precious family stay with us Sunday night

My sister Betty, her hubby Scott
    son, Isaiah and daughter, Merida
who is holding our granddaughter Zoe.
We were blessed to have these two precious children stay with us on Monday and Tuesday while their parents were at work

We were blessed with a beautiful and fun day at Hershey Park

Thursday was a cloudy day. I was able to spend it at home which was nice. Hubby's boss took his employees to a Phillie's game last evening. I decided to treat Ellen and Greta to Pizza Hut for dinner......Ellen has been asking to go there. Before we left, the clouds turned to rain. It rained all evening. I felt so sorry for the guys at the game. I was imagining rain delays and possibly a game postponed. Guess what.....it only rained a little bit in Philadelphia! We are thankful for the rain we had here, though. Our flower beds and grass are in need of it!

So that brings us to today. I will work on a newsletter for our woman at church. I have more laundry to do. Also hope to get to a grocery store.

We are looking forward to -
  • Worshiping with our church family on Sunday. I will be singing with the worship team. I really enjoy that!
  • Lunch with the family after church =)
  • Beach vacation soon!!!
  • Gina and Joe being able to spend the week with us at the beach. So looking forward to that!
Happy Friday to all!

Hershey Park Happy!

It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks around here. Today is the first day in a while that nothing is happening.  I will blog this morning while the house is quiet.

Yesterday was a fun day.....we went to Hershey Park for the day! In June, the Giant grocery store chain had a deal where you bought certain Kraft products and got free Hershey Park tickets. I love a deal like that! Corey, Christy, Scott, Lynn, Greta, Ellen and Hubs and I had a great time. Kim took her family last week during her vacation. Gina and Joe were not able to join us either =(

The weather was perfect.....in the 80's, which felt hot but at least it wasn't 100 something like last week, and no humidity. The sky was a gorgeous blue.

Hubs and Ellen enjoy the Sky Ride
(that's way too high in the air for me!)

One of the many roller coasters at the park....
none of which I will ever ride!

Cute little train that's a hit for the young and old!

Hubs and Ellen ride the Pirate Ship.
They are on the far end of the top row.

And away they go!

We rode the Tram back to the park after lunch.

Scott is thrilled, don't you think?!!

I think this ride is the craziest of them all.....
And my kids love it (except Ellen)

Hey, Ellen......

Beautiful!

I spent the day reading while staying with the things the rest of them couldn't take on the rides. I was so content doing that.....reading all day and not feeling guilty about it!! Dale didn't ride many rides either. Ellen was surprisingly brave and rode a lot of coasters....even the Great Bear this year. She said she closed her eyes the whole time! It was a good, good day!

Today I need to get some house work done. Lots of laundry, floor sweeping and still some things to put back in place after our busy week-end. Our beach vacation is coming up too. So, the busy continues!

Have a great day!

So many great memories!
